Objectives

The objective of the SUCSES project is to develop novel  technologies for survivable security services. The main goal is to provide organizations with tight control -- as opposed to today's certificate-based loose control -- over endusers' security privileges such as generation of digital signatures, data encryption/decryption and entity authentication. An additional goal is to accommodate weak computing devices (eg,handheld PDAs) by providing them with full security functionality afforded by more powerful devices while retaining the ability to instantly revoke a device's access to security services
